About Acacia Network – Franklin House – Morrisania
Acacia Network – Franklin House is a drug and alcohol rehab facility located in the Bronx, New York. They treat adult men for substance use disorder and alcohol use disorder. They are a residential service licensed by the New York State Office of Addiction Services & Supports.
When you arrive at this facility, they will give you a full intake assessment. They will ask you many questions about your experiences with drugs and alcohol. They’ll also ask you about your medical history. You’ll have both group and individual therapy.
Group therapy is designed to let you discuss your feelings about addiction with other people who have been through the same thing. Groups are led by a facilitator who can call on people to speak and moderate if discussions get too heated.
Individual therapy may include cognitive behavioral therapy which will help you to see things in a way that is more positive and realistic. People who have a mental health condition and addiction issues at the same time may be treated with dialectical behavioral therapy. This type of treatment offers coping mechanisms to people who experience emotions strongly.
They’ll also help you get vocational training, and they can refer you to a primary care physician if needed. Once you are ready to leave, they can assist you in finding housing.
