About Acacia Network – Youth Residential – West Bronx
Located in the Bronx, New York is the Acacia Network Promesa RRSY Program. This is an intensive residential treatment program specifically designed for boys and young men aged 14 to 20 years old.
If you are struggling with substance use or have co occurring mental health issues, this residential treatment program can support you. Taking an evidence based approach to care, they can help you work through your chemical dependency while empowering you with the skills you need to lead a promising and productive future.
The Acacia Network is one of the nation’s largest Hispanic led non profit organizations. They recognize and understand the diverse needs impacting today’s youth and the Bronx residential program offers culturally competent care to meet those needs. Care is offered in both English and Spanish and there are short term and long term residential treatment options.
While working through treatment at this residential program, you’ll be empowered with long term recovery skills to help guide your future. Some of the ways this is done is through vocational counseling where you’ll learn different skills and work readiness abilities so that you can go on to obtain gainful employment. There are also on site classes so that you can continue your education.
The recovery support and wellness activities here will encourage you to tap into your interests, develop healthy habits, and gain the momentum to make lasting changes in your life.
The boys and young men living here will engage in different social and group therapy counseling sessions. Through these group focused approaches, you’ll begin to develop a sense of community with your peers here.
You get the chance to experience what a positive and productive day looks like and you’ll get to be a part of a community of peers and adults that you know will support you when you encounter challenges during your recovery.
