About Acenda Integrated Health – Pittsgrove
Located in Pittsgrove, New Jersey, Acenda Integrated Health is a healthcare organization that provides behavioral health services. They offer a substance abuse program for women called A Place To Call Home. It features services such as peer facilitated mother support groups and life skills building.
A Place to Call Home gives pregnant and postpartum women a safe place to work on their recovery from opioid abuse. Clients will receive around the clock care from licensed nurses, peer recovery specialists, and resident assistants. The peer recovery specialists will encourage you throughout your treatment and provide assistance with developing and achieving your recovery goals.
You’ll participate in daily support groups that will focus on recovery topics such as substance abuse triggers, alternative sober activities, and stress management. You’ll benefit from the encouragement and insights of your peers and also be able to practice your communication skills.
Clients will receive regular drug and alcohol testing to help them stay accountable to their treatment goals. Additional services provided in the program are education navigation and vocational support.
The staff at the facility will help connect you to a variety of resources that can help you be successful in your recovery. Some community resources that you may be able to access include medication assisted treatment, childcare, and healthcare. Upon your discharge, you’ll also be connected to aftercare services and a recovery coach.
A Place To Call Home is a little over a half hour away from Philadelphia. When clients have a chance to visit the city, they can take time to enjoy activities such as walking in Rittenhouse Square or checking out the National Constitution Center.
