Individuals can participate in an 8 hour interactive class that will include instructional material, films and group activities about substance abuse. The substance abuse education class is state licensed and meets the requirements necessary for court ordered substance abuse prevention classes.

The goal of this program is to help you make healthier choices and have a better understanding of addiction. The topics that will be discussed include risk factors, effects of substance use on the brain and relapse prevention strategies.

ADAP Counseling Services offers individual and group substance use counseling sessions. Counselors will work with you not only to stop drug use but also to help you be better able to function in the community. Located on SE Port St Lucie Boulevard, you’re not far from Riverwalk Boardwalk, where you can enjoy a relaxing view of the St Lucie River in between your treatment sessions.

Gender specific groups are also available to make sure that these sessions address your specific needs and that you feel as comfortable as possible sharing your experiences.

Sometimes, anger can be a cause of a client’s addiction. The anger management class at the facility is designed to teach you the techniques and skills you need to manage your anger. Relaxation techniques and the art of letting go will be some of the topics you’ll learn about in the class.
