Addiction Resources specializes in using methadone and suboxone to treat opioid addiction. They also provide Spanish-speaking services to serve a diverse client base. Services offered include outpatient treatment and medication-assisted treatment (MAT).

Outpatient programs are usually recommended for clients with mild symptoms, since they offer a lower level of care with less supervision. Clients live at home while in an outpatient program and visit the clinic on a regular basis to participate in treatment. In addition to medication-assisted treatment, they provide counseling and examination services.

For their MAT program, Addiction Resources uses methadone and suboxone in the treatment of opioid addiction. Both drugs are approved by the FDA for this purpose and work by reducing or eliminating difficult withdrawal symptoms that can make focusing on treatment difficult. Medication use in MAT is closely monitored for client safety.

MAT is rarely used on its own. Addiction Resources recommends that clients also participate in outpatient treatment to receive counseling and additional support.
