Addicts Rehabilitation Center Park Avenue, located on Park Avenue in the Harlem district of New York City, is associated with the nationwide Addiction Recovery Centers (ARC) organization. ARC Park Avenue is a residential and sober house facility for men.

Addicts Rehabilitation Center Park Avenue provides housing and addiction treatment services in a safe, drug-free environment to individuals recovering from substance abuse addiction or co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders.

Residents live in a communal environment with shared bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen. Residents may stay long-term at the facility as long as they abide by the rules, including maintaining sobriety, sharing with household chores, and submitting to random drug and alcohol screens.

Persons with HIV or AIDS, women, men, and referrals from the criminal justice system are accepted at ARC, and Spanish language services are available. 12-Step recovery sessions, group counseling and peer support are offered. The facility is state financed, and takes private health insurance, military insurance, and self-payment, as well.

12-Step

12 step programs such as Alcoholics or Narcotics Anonymous are support group style programs for individuals who are experiencing alcohol or substance use disorder. At Evoke they use a holistic model of addiction care that includes using 12 step programs. These programs are an integral part of most relapse prevention plans and provide continued support and accountability that support sobriety.

Aftercare Support

Completing a drug or alcohol rehab program shouldn't spell the end of substance abuse treatment. Aftercare involves making a sustainable plan for recovery, including ongoing support. This can include sober living arrangements like halfway houses, career counseling, and setting a patient up with community programs like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA).

Inpatient
