About ADOBE Treatment – S. Peak Street – Dallas
ADOBE Treatment – S. Peak Street provides alcohol and substance abuse to all individuals, including individuals of the criminal justice system. ADOBE Treatment – S. Peak Street offers residential treatment and outpatient program. ADOBE Treatment is located at Dallas, Texas.
Residential services at ADOBE Treatment include two phases, Intensive Residential and Transitional Residential Treatment. In the Intensive Residential, clients attend more than 20 hours of counseling activity per week. The program duration is typically 30 to 90 days. While in the Transitional Residential Treatment clients attend four hours of group and individual counseling daily. During this phase of treatment, clients are allowed to seek employment through ABODE’s job placement assistance program. When employed, clients receive a minimum of six hours of counseling per week.
The Residential treatment is based on the Therapeutic Community model, with an emphasis on Cognitive Therapeutic approach. The curriculum is also based on the 12-step model of recovery, the curriculum includes anger management, family counseling, activities of daily living training; budgeting, cooking, nutrition, personal hygiene.
Clients who do not have a high school diploma or GED equivalent are encouraged to attend GED classes offered at ABODE residential. Under the guidance of a professional educator, clients have access to an on-site computer lab to aid them in their studies and skills development.
