About Affinity Counseling and Treatment – Vancouver
Affinity Counseling & Treatment was located in Vancouver, Washington. They strived to help people navigate their way through recovery and provide the tools necessary for success. They offered state certified substance abuse, mental health, domestic violence and anger management treatment evaluations and programs.
They used a whole person approach to help battle addiction focusing on spiritual, emotional and physical aspects of life affected by substance abuse. Clients worked with counselors who had over 50 years combined experience dealing with substance abuse.
They provided evaluations for DUIs, domestic violence, Assault IV and deferred prosecution as well as some based on employer referrals. They took out of state referrals if needed.
Their group counseling and treatment programs consisted of an intensive outpatient program (IOP), level 1.0 IOP, youth and adolescent IOP and relapse prevention. They had gender specific group counseling, domestic violence and anger management, and mental health counseling. All of these programs had a monthly monitoring system in place.
Clients could also attend their drug and alcohol information school. This was an eight hour course that met state requirements for first time driving related drug or alcohol offenders.
They took WA state Medicaid. Qualified Oregon residents could also apply for a sliding pay scale for services.
Previous clients reported that this was a great place to go to if you were court ordered, and it was the cheapest. They said there were good people here who were friendly and easy to work with, although it sometimes took a while to get assessments and information returned to you.
