Alabama Teen Challenge–Men’s Induction Center South is a faith-based residential drug and alcohol rehab for adult men in Bay Minette, Alabama. They specialize in phased, long-term treatment and aftercare planning and support, including dedicated services for young adults, seniors, justice-involved persons, low-income persons, and persons with co-occurring disorders.
Their residential treatment facility enables clients to focus on their recovery in a highly structured and supportive environment featuring comfortable, home-like amenities.
Their phased residential program requires a commitment to a minimum of 12 months of treatment designed to prepare clients for their successful reintegration into the home, workplace, and community. The program prioritizes clients’ spiritual development as the foundation for enduring recovery. Daily prayer and Bible study and regular attendance at church and chapel are expected. Clients are also required to adhere to program codes of conduct, discipleship activities, random drug and alcohol screenings, and work therapy or academic and vocational training. Individual, group, and family therapy and gender-specific, recovery-focused life skills training are emphasized.
Their aftercare services ensure a complete continuum of care aligned with clients’ evolving needs and may include step-down support, housing and employment assistance, 12 step program facilitation, and referrals for additional services.
Alabama Teen Challenge–Men’s Induction Center’s services are available at low or no cost, with housing and treatment costs funded in part by clients’ program-supported employment. They may work with major insurance providers, such as Aetna, Cigna, BlueCross BlueShield, Humana, United Healthcare, and others, to offset treatment costs when possible. Out of network benefits vary.
