Alcoholics Anonymous is an international fellowship of men and women who have had a drinking problem. They rely on the Twelve Steps, which are a group of principles, spiritual in their nature, that when practiced can help people recover from alcoholism.
Some of the meeting hosted at Alco Club include the Phoenix Men’s Group, the Fresh Start Group, the Sunrise Breakfast Group, The Phoenix Group, Stepping in Sobriety, the Clean & Free Group, Jax Men’s Group, and the Heart to Heart Group. Alcoholics Anonymous is nonprofessional, self-supporting, multiracial, apolitical, and available almost everywhere. There are no age or education requirements. Membership is open to anyone wishing to do something about their drinking problem. Every AA group is self-supporting and free to attend. Contributions help cover each group’s rent and other expenses.
