About Andrew Residence – Minneapolis
Andrew Residence, located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, provides residential psychiatric and mental health programs for adults over age 21. This includes nursing treatment for those with dual-diagnoses and those who are struggling with chemical dependency. Andrew Residence is a Level II Nursing Facility.
Andrew Residence offers evidence-based, trauma-informed treatments for those who wish to successfully live independent lives. In order to qualify for admission, individuals must be diagnosed with a mental illness. Those who have a secondary substance abuse disorder diagnosis are also permitted so long as they have achieved 30 days of sobriety.
Residents at Andrew Residence have access to 24-hour nursing services for those with chronic and acute physical health problems. In addition, the health education team will teach residents how to maximize their independence. They will learn a wide range of skills from budgeting and doing laundry to work skills and recreation and nutrition.
Andrew Residence offers paid on-site employment opportunities such as phone reception, housekeeping and more. There is also a volunteer program for those who wish to be involved in serving the community.
