About Andrews Center Behavioral – Mineola
The highly structured nature of IOP care gives clients treatment in multiple sessions each week. Clients visit the facility while continuing to live at home or in a sober living house. Services include individual, family, and group counseling, addiction education, life-skills training, and relapse prevention planning. Some services may be available via telehealth.
Also called a supportive outpatient program, the general outpatient program provides similar services as the IOP but meets less frequently. When clients finish treatment, the Andrews Center provides aftercare support that may include housing services, educational and employment support, information about 12-step and other recovery groups, and referrals to community resources.
While Andrews Center accepts private insurance, they don’t list any specific carriers. They may accept plans such as Magellan, Aetna, Wellmark, Ambetter, and Cigna. Clients are advised to confirm their coverage, as out of network benefits may vary.
