Arbour Counseling Services is a drug and alcohol rehab facility in Worcester, Massachusetts. They offer outpatient treatment for substance use disorder and alcohol use disorder. They provide medical-assisted treatment (MAT) to make detoxification less painful.
You must have a full evaluation when you come in. This will determine the nature of your substance use disorder (SUD) and whether or not you have a mental health condition. You will take a drug test when you enter and throughout your treatment. If you are a justice system client then you will have a more thorough evaluation that can be presented to the court.
Their detox program offers both Suboxone and Vivitrol for people with opioid use disorder. You will come in every day and take the medication at the clinic until you are stabilized.
Once you have stabilized you should be able to take these medications at home. It can take anywhere from six to eight weeks to be fully detoxified.
They have an intensive outpatient program (IOP) that offers group and individual therapy. They provide family therapy sessions if you want them. It can often be helpful to talk to family members about your substance use with a therapist present.
They are part of the Massachusetts Impaired Driving program. This is a 16-week program for people charged with a DUI. You will learn about the effects of drugs on your body and on those around you.
They also have a second-offender aftercare program. This treatment goes on for an entire year. You have the option of being treated individually or in group sessions.
