About Arizona Mentor – Cambridge – Phoenix
Arizona MENTOR – Cambridge is a behavioral health support program in Phoenix, Arizona, west of Desert Star Park. They help clients with developmental and intellectual difficulties learn skills that will help them lead happy and productive lives. They serve clients of all ages.
Arizona MENTOR – Cambridge provides a full continuum of programs supported by case management, transportation, and advocacy services. Their team can also deliver services at home, ensuring clients can get the services they need regardless of their ability to travel. Services are offered on an outpatient basis.
This day program is designed to help clients develop life skills and independence through therapeutic activities. As a day program, clients don’t live at the facility during the course of treatment. Instead, they visit regularly (or are visited by staff if they opt for in-home services) and return home afterward.
Arizona MENTOR’s broad range of programs engages clients in recreation and social activities. These include counseling, gardening, vocational training and support, fitness groups, cooking classes, medication management, social skill development, transportation to medical appointments, placement in group or supported living homes, and art therapy. Each client receives a treatment plan personalized to their needs and experience, so each treatment plan is unique.
Clients who are interested in participating in a treatment program should first confirm coverage with their insurance provider, as in network and out of network benefits can vary.
