About Aspire Health Partners – Fernwood Campus – Casselberry
The Fernwood Campus of Aspire Health Partners in Casselberry, Florida. This is a clinic that supports adolescents, teens, and adults who are struggling with substance use or are at risk for a substance use disorder. They also have programs for criminal offenders and juveniles who are at risk for criminal behaviors.
This campus serves residents throughout Seminole County and is one of the largest nonprofit behavioral health providers in the state. They provide a continuum of services including outpatient addiction counseling in a variety of settings, helping to inspire healthy choices for a healthy future.
Their approach to care is designed to meet you where you’re at in your recovery journey. There are different programs for adolescents and teens helping them understand the complexities and consequences of substance use.
They have programs including their New Horizons program which targets middle and high school students. It provides counseling services at no cost while helping children work on improved decision-making skills, anger management techniques, and guidance regarding at risk behaviors that could lead to substance use.
They have another program called Youth! Positively Empowered, or Y!PEP, which is state funded and builds on substance use education by incorporating a curriculum that covers HIV and STI education alone. There are also testing services and peer support services offered through this program.
These programs are just one of several that are intentionally focused on helping the youth throughout Seminole County make stronger, healthier life choices.
Also known as the Program for Treatment Alternatives for Safer Communities, TASC partners with criminal justice agencies so that offenders have alternative options to care as opposed to traditional incarceration.
This program is effective in helping end the cycle of drug use and criminal activity by showing juveniles and adults there are different life paths they can choose. Through community partnerships, substance use education, and counseling support, offenders have a second chance at reclaiming their lives.
