AtlantiCare Child and Adolescent Services is located in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. They offer outpatient behavioral health services for three to 17 year olds and their families. You can get individual and family counseling here along with psychiatric evaluations and medical monitoring.

They also have group therapy sessions if that setting works better for you. This treatment center encourages family participation as much as possible.

Adults may also be able to enter their substance abuse program. After a primary clinician goes over your situation and recommends you to their team then they can find the right treatment plan that works best for you.

Your plan may include individual and or group counseling, a psychiatric evaluation and medication to go along with counseling. They also have an employment assistance program. They offer addiction and recovery services like early intervention, relapse prevention and an intensive outpatient program plus help with compulsive gambling.

They accept Medicare and Medicaid and most insurance plans. If you don’t have insurance the United Way helps so that you can pay on a sliding scale depending on your income and the size of your family. Here they also receive special funding from the Division of Mental Health Services and the Division of Youth and Family Services and through certain state and county grants.

There are some nice places to visit to relax or have some fun in and around this facility. Some local sober recreation options include Bob’s Garden Center, Storybrook Land, Harbor Pines Golf Club or LWG Laser Tag.
