About Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center Behavioral Health – Rome
Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center Behavioral Health, formerly Willowbrooke at Floyd, offers drug rehab services in Rome, Georgia. They provide medical detox, medication assisted treatment, inpatient treatment, partial hospitalization programs, and dual diagnosis mental health treatment for young adults and adults. Specialized services are available for seniors.
At Atrium Health, clients requiring detox may receive FDA approved prescriptions (but not Suboxone) to relieve withdrawal pains and ease cravings. Clients receive transportation, 24/7 supervision, and private rooms and are enrolled in 12 Step programs. Detox generally lasts 5 to 7 days and takes place in conjunction with inpatient care.
Inpatient services allow for stabilization of the mind and body during the initial phases of recovery. Atrium Health incorporates trauma therapy, individual psychotherapy and family therapy into the treatment process. They also support those with co-occurring mental and behavioral health disorders. Case management can be provided to assist in creating an ongoing treatment plan. The average stay is 5 to 7 days.
The partial hospitalization program is one step down in intensity from inpatient treatment. This program takes place during the day, allowing clients to return home for the overnight and evening hours. Individual, group, and family therapy are offered, along with continued recovery groups and planning. The program is available weekdays, from 9am to 2pm and lasts 6 to 8 weeks. Lunch and snacks are provided.
