About Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Pediatric Development and Behavior – Amos Cottage – Winston-Salem

Amos Cottage Therapeutic Day Program, a part of Atrium Health, is a mental health support program in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Amos Cottage is unique in that it serves children between the ages of three and seven with general outpatient services. Transportation is available to help clients make their appointments.

Emotional and behavioral challenges aren’t a problem unique to adults. By serving a narrow age range of kids, the staff at Amos Cottage are working to tackle such problems early to help ensure happy and healthy childhoods. Each child participates in a range of therapeutic activities to teach them critical coping skills.

But it’s not enough to simply help kids. Their parents need to be involved in the process. Staff will work with you to teach you about your child’s challenges and recovery and to help you develop a continuing care plan outside of treatment. Together, you and the staff can support your child’s lifelong recovery and nurture continuing growth.
