About Ausable Valley Mental Health – West Branch
Ausable Valley Mental Health rebranded in 2024 and is now Wellvance. Located in West Branch, Michigan, Wellvance is a provider of behavioral healthcare services that support adults, veterans, and members of the LGBTQ community.
If you have a diagnosed mental illness, have an intellectual or developmental disability, or are the parents of a child who has serious emotional disturbances, there are programs here tailored to those specific needs as well.
Screenings and treatment will be provided for you here, helping you get set up with the appropriate individualized treatment plan to help you work through your struggles.
While their services are guided by evidence based therapies including counseling, you’ll also find there’s a strong focus on getting to know you as an individual and what your recovery goals are. You play an active role in your recovery here and you’ll find it easy to do thanks to the compassionate, judgment free care provided.
If you need more intensive support for your substance abuse recovery, you can get connected to different agencies and providers in the community. Wellvance partners with different entities and providers to ensure you get the appropriate care you need whether it’s with their health professionals or someone else.
Wellvance offers free Narcan kits at each of their offices and also provides training so that you know how to use this lifesaving medication. To get your kit, you simply come into the clinic, where you’ll find the full service Narcan vending machine.
Helping make care more accessible, Wellvance has a fully functional app that you can download on your mobile phone. You can sign up for free and get access to different tools, strategies, resources, and educational material to help you. You don’t have to be a patient here to use this app and receive their free resources.
