About Awakenings Serenity Club – Moreno Valley
Awakenings Serenity Club is located in Moreno Valley, California. They have group meetings for men and women ages 18 and older who are experiencing drug and alcohol addictions. Their meetings take place several times a day including weekends and evenings.
At these meetings you’ll have a chance to learn from your peers and share your experience. This way, you’ll heal together. This is similar to Alcoholics Anonymous where you can talk about your addictions in an open forum and not face stigmas. Their goal is to assist members in identifying the root cause of addictions while equipping them with coping strategies. If a higher level of care is needed you may be referred to a partial hospitalization program, an inpatient program or a residential treatment center.
Treatment approaches can include faith, open book discussions and motivational speakers. You’ll have chances to participate in group activities and reflect on how to meet your future goals.
