Barrington Youth and Family Services in Barrington, Illinois provides outpatient counseling for many mental health and behavioral issues including substance abuse and addictions of all kinds. If your teenager is addicted to social media or you are struggling with alcohol or drug addiction then there is an outpatient counseling and treatment program for you.
Outpatient visit hours are from 10:30 am until 8 pm on Monday to Thursday. They are closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Appointments can be arranged, when necessary, outside of the hours that are posted.
Counselling services and treatment are offered through educational programming, such as parenting classes, addiction awareness, mental health and domestic violence educational and awareness programs. They also have therapeutic and skill development programs to help individuals deal with interpersonal relationships, gain social skills, overcome grief, and develop life skills to help overcome addiction or mental health issues such as anger, depression, anxiety, or trauma.
Therapeutic assessments and mental health evaluations help the qualified professionals support clients in creating an effective treatment care plan. Therapy and life goals are made easier to achieve once individuals learn the skills needed to make positive choices and to give up old coping mechanisms for healthier choices.
Services are provided in English and in Spanish and they accept most health insurance plans, including State and Federal Medicaid and Medicare programs.
