The first level of addiction treatment offered at this location is outpatient treatment. This is ideal for clients who need ongoing support after staying at an inpatient facility, clients who need to continue taking care of daily responsibilities and those facing legal issues such as driving under the influence (DUI) charges. The time that patients will need to spend in treatment is about five hours a week or less. Outpatient treatment will involve individual and group counseling sessions where clients learn a variety of skills that will help them achieve sobriety.
The intensive outpatient program (IOP) is for individuals who have more serious addiction issues. Clients will be at the facility for a longer period of time receiving treatment. They’ll receive help from the entire medical staff and trained counselors who specialize in providing addiction counseling. Meals will be provided during the treatment time. In some cases, patients may need a higher level of care to treat their addiction. If necessary, the Bend Outpatient Treatment Center can refer patients to residential services.
