About Betty & Bobby Allison Ozarks Counseling Center – Springfield
Betty and Bobby Allison Ozarks Counseling Center has a history of supporting people facing challenges in their lives and mental health, including substance abuse, spanning over 60 years. Located in Springfield, Missouri, they use a goal oriented approach to identifying behavioral changes you want to make and they have outpatient treatment to help you turn your plans into action. The facility sits at the edge of Jenny Lincoln Park.
The challenges LGBTQ+ individuals face are only compounded by substance use disorder. Even once you’re in a program, you may feel like you need additional support.
This center oversees a free support group for LGBTQ+ people that can be used alongside their counseling services. Adults attend this group to share their struggles and successes, build supportive relationships with one another, and develop new coping skills. It’s a way to get a little extra help and fill that social need in recovery.
This location understands that many of the people who need help the most don’t have the financial resources or insurance needed to cover costs. That’s why they have a sliding fee scale that can reduce the cost of each session to as low as $10 and they don’t turn away clients for an inability to pay. But any discount is a blessing if it puts care within reach.
They accept some private insurance as well as Medicaid.
