About Blue Hills Treatment Center – Hartford

The Blue Hills Hospital – Hartford Campus is a nonprofit substance abuse rehab operated by the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services. It is also a component of Connecticut Valley Hospital, providing 24 hour inpatient services to people struggling with drug and alcohol addiction in the surrounding area.

This addiction treatment center doesn’t provide numerous substance abuse treatment modalities because it’s a subsidiary branch of Blue Hills Hospital. However, it does provide individuals with inpatient residential treatment and acute detoxification that you can learn more about below:

Those experiencing acute withdrawal from drugs and alcohol can receive treatment at the acute detoxification program at Hartford Campus. This program uses evidence-based practices and a holistic approach to help substance abuse users recover and lead prosperous lives. Medication assisted treatment is provided at Hartford Campus for those who need it, and services are gender specific and trauma sensitive.

The residential treatment program at Blue Hills Hospital – Hartford Campus provides individuals with the education and structure they need to begin their recovery from substance abuse. This rehab center offers 21 beds for acute detoxification, and there are 21 beds available for co-ed rehabilitation.
