About Bowling Green Brandywine Treatment Center – Kennett Square
Bowling Green Brandywine Treatment Center is located on Newark Road in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. They offer inpatient substance use disorder treatment and treatment for adults with co-occurring disorders.

There’s an inpatient residential treatment program for adults 18 and older, both women and men. The average stay is between 21 to 28 days but your treatment may be shorter or longer depending on your unique needs.
In the dual diagnosis treatment program, you’ll see a psychiatrist once a week for medication management. You’ll also have a morning process group with your counselor and then move into different psychoeducational programs during the day.
In the regular inpatient rehab program, you’ll learn about the 12 Step recovery model and have a plethora of programs to choose from. Some of those programs include learning about the cycles of behavior and self responsibility, stress tricks, anger and substance use, and making amends.
The dual diagnosis program has many of the same classes, but there are some additional classes as well. Some of these include focused thinking, impulse control, overcoming depression, and clean thinking. You’ll also learn better ways of handling anxiety and stress.
They also offer experiential therapies such as music therapy, Reiki, and meditation. In both program tracks, you’ll have the opportunity to exercise at least once per day. There’s also a weekly family program on Sundays after which you’ll get an hour to meet with your family. They’ll also have the option of an Al Anon meeting.
The center offers a specialized treatment program for pregnant women where they work to help you get through detox and rehab safely for both you and the baby. You’ll also see an OB/GYN as needed.
There’s a partial hospitalization program (PHP) that lasts about 10 days. The PHP is for men who need structured treatment before returning to their home environment. In this program, you’ll live off campus. They’ll provide transportation to the six hour daily program.
