About Bridge Health – Trenton
Bridge Health was formerly known as Lookout Mountain Community Services (LMCS). This change happened following a rebrand in 2022. Despite the name change, this organization still provides robust behavioral health services to adults and adolescents.
Their Trenton, Georgia location serves adults who are struggling with addiction use or have a co-occurring mental health struggle. The services here are offered in an outpatient treatment setting.
Access to care is flexible thanks to convenient walk in times and transportation support for residents who live in nearby counties. They also accept Medicaid, and Medicare as well.
Through their addictive diseases services, Bridge Health partners with community organizations including law enforcement and social services. The mission behind this partnership is to help at risk individuals make healthier choices through accessible and quality care
By providing individuals with alternative options and accessible behavioral health care, they’re less likely to engage in criminal activity or spiral into habits that will negatively impact their own lives and the lives of their loved ones.
One aspect of this program that is especially helpful is its dedicated addiction treatment support for children and adolescents. This program takes place after school and combines physical, emotional, social, and spiritual approaches to care.
Children have a safe place to engage in both individual and group counseling sessions where they can work through different stressors that are steering them toward negative behaviors and substance use.
Throughout this program, children will develop critical skills like learning how to identify stressful emotions, manage complicated feelings, and be proactive about making healthier life choices.
