About Brook Lane – North Village – Hagerstown
Brook Lane – North Village in Hagerstown, Maryland, is the home of InSTEP, Brook Lane’s specialized drug rehab treatment program. Held five days a week, levels of care include outpatient and intensive outpatient support for adults of all ethnicities and walks of life.
All clients must be assessed before beginning treatment to determine which level of care would be most suitable for their needs. For example, clients taking part in Brook Lane’s outpatient program can expect a person centered approach involving specialized life skills education, relapse prevention and cravings management. 60-minute sessions are held throughout each day and occasionally in the evenings for added convenience.
For clients in need of further support, Brook Lane offers an intensive outpatient program. Clients receive group therapy tailored to meet the needs of those with concurrent substance abuse and mental health issues. Through integrated support, clients learn symptom management and life skills through educational discussions, lectures and resources. They also engage in relapse prevention. Sessions are held from 9 am until 12 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Clients can expect to move up to outpatient care after completing the initial phase of intensive outpatient treatment.
Brook Lane accepts Aetna, Medical Assistance, CareFirst, Cigna, Quest and USFHP. They are in negotiations regarding other insurance companies. Clients are advised to clarify coverage with their insurance provider regarding out of network benefits. Alternative funding is also available for those in need by way of financial assistance applications, payment plans or Maryland Medical Assistance.
