About Burrell Behavioral Health – Springfield
Burrell Behavioral Health provides behavioral health services for clients of all ages at locations across Missouri. Their Springfield location is considered their main campus. It’s made up of two buildings with outpatient programs. Building A has psychiatry treatment, primary care, and pharmaceutical services. In Building B, they offer individual and group counseling, eating disorder services, and specialized autism treatment. They accept private insurance, self payment, Medicare and Medicaid.
I like that this facility provides counseling in a collaborative environment, so you can participate in more than one line of treatment if you need to. For example, you might seek therapy for addiction treatment and psychiatric services for a co-occurring mental health condition like anxiety. Their team is multidisciplinary and trained in covering all aspects of care. Here, they use several evidence based practices including trauma focused therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing and dialectical behavioral therapy.
Your care team will work with you to understand and assess your condition. Then, they’ll create a custom treatment plan to meet your needs. In addition to counseling, they also offer coaching calls and life skills training to help you create a foundation for long term recovery.
