About Burrell Behavioral Health – Branson
Burnell Behavioral Health is a community mental health center located in Branson, Missouri. They provide substance use disorder treatment services ranging from partial hospitalization (PHP) to general outpatient care. The center accepts Medicare, Medicaid, and other insurance plans.
The highest level of care available at this location is PHP. You’ll receive structured and intensive care from the staff on a daily basis five days a week. Most of your treatment will be in group counseling with one hour of individual counseling at least once a week.
Additional individual counseling sessions can be scheduled in the week if needed. Counseling helps you recover from addiction by teaching you skills to successfully recover. You’ll start learning about how to identify your triggers and developing coping skills to prevent relapse.
As you make progress in your recovery, you’ll step down to other outpatient levels of care such as the intensive outpatient (IOP) and general outpatient programs. With less time spent at the mental health center, it gives you more time to find sober activities to do in Branson. A few options you can try out include visiting the Titanic Museum or taking a walk at Ozark Mountain State Park.
Burrell Behavioral Health offers addiction care services at other locations that may be more suited to your needs. Clients with traffic offenses due to substance abuse can participate in the substance abuse traffic offender program at the Murney Clinic. The staff can also refer you to residential treatment if more intensive addiction care is needed.
