Butte County Behavioral Health – Connections provides outpatient youth mental health services to children, adolescents, and young adults through age 24. They can also give referrals to additional services, including alcohol or drug rehab treatment, social services, community resources, and more.
Outpatient services include assessments, family, individual and group counseling, medication and case management, life skills training, and referrals to additional care. Approaches may include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), trauma-informed therapy, and other evidence-based methods.
Butte County Behavioral Health also offers additional support, such as employment support, housing services, food and clothing, connections to 12-step recovery programs, and other community resources.
