About California Human Development – Stonehouse – Santa Rosa

Athena House, formerly California Human Development – Stonehouse, is a residential treatment program for women and non-binary individuals. Located in Sonoma County, California, this facility provides recovery programming to people with substance abuse issues. They can accommodate up to 14 women and up to two mothers with children.

Athena House offers stays of 30-120 days. Each year, Athena house serves over 70 women.

Athena House offers a variety of treatments including individual and group counseling, life skills training, parenting workshops, job prep, housing assistance, self-esteem and anger management classes, and exercise and nutrition. This treatment facility aims to focus on healing for the body, spirit and mind.

After clients leave Athena House they can step down to Hope Village which is on the other side of the property. Here, you can continue to move towards independent living while still having ties to the recovery community.

No referrals are needed and self pay is accepted.
