Canon Human Services, located in Los Angeles, California, offers dual-diagnosis residential treatment for adult men and dual-diagnosis outpatient alcohol and drug rehab services for adult men and women. They also offer services for justice-involved individuals, as well as aftercare support.
Residential treatment at Canon Human Services includes individual, group, and family therapy; education about the impact of substance use; life-skills training; medication management; and relapse prevention. Approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and other evidence-based methodologies.
Outpatient services are available for adult men and women and include many of the same services as residential care. The difference is that patients live at home and attend treatment a few times per week. Canon Human Services also offers court liaison assistance for justice-involved individuals. When treatment ends, Canon offers aftercare, such as connections to 12-Step programs and ongoing therapy.
