About Carrington Behavioral Health – East Cleveland
Carrington Youth Academy, located in Cleveland, Ohio, provides outpatient behavioral health and addiction treatment that uses a whole-person approach to treatment. Their services are for males and females over the age of seven.
Carrington Youth Academy provides residential and outpatient treatment.
The residential program can be participated in through a short-term or long-term format. The short-term program is 90 – 120 days in length, while the long-term option is greater than 120 days in length. Treatments include individual therapy, group therapy, trauma-informed therapy, and family therapy. Strength-based treatment approaches are offered to help participants develop resiliency and create positive momentum in their recovery.
Outpatient programming is available from 9 – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday for individuals who are appropriate for this level of care. Individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, and case management are available. Strengths-based treatment, promotion of resiliency and recovery, and trauma-informed care influence the nature of this program to ensure a positive and whole-person lens. Once treatment is coming to completion, transitional services and aftercare programming will be discussed.
