In Vancouver, Washington, Catholic Community Services offers intensive children’s mental health services. They call the program WISe which means Wraparound Intensive Services. The team helping your family could include counselors, schools, child protective services and probation officers.
Brief crisis stabilization services last 14 days and help children avoid unnecessary psychiatric hospitalizations. Combining traditional therapy, crisis assessment and intervention and case management allows for a comprehensive crisis support experience. Crisis treatment is available 24 hours per day seven days per week.
