In Vancouver, Washington, Catholic Community Services offers intensive children’s mental health services. They call the program WISe which means Wraparound Intensive Services. Family Behavioral Health is a division within the Catholic Community Services that uses a wraparound and individualized approach. They use a team approach for children and family and set goals to meet your family’s needs based on your child’s strengths. The team helping your family could include counselors, schools, child protective services and probation officers.
Brief crisis stabilization services last 14 days and help children avoid unnecessary psychiatric hospitalizations. Combining traditional therapy, crisis assessment and intervention and case management allows for a comprehensive crisis support experience. Crisis treatment is available 24 hours per day seven days per week.
