The Supportive Living programs in Erie and Niagara Counties are designed for individuals who have developed a period of sustained abstinence but still need minimal support as they transition to independent living. This level of care primarily focuses on relapse prevention and vocational development. Individual counseling and instructive groups are designed to meet the unique needs of each person.
All residents are required to participate in program services and counseling. The Supportive Living Program places an emphasis on guiding residents towards independence and assuming responsibility for their ongoing abstinence, recovery goals, and objectives.
This program is suitable for individuals who are pursuing vocational or educational goals, but still are in need of support services for substance use and addiction. The program is licensed by the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services and receives oversight from the Erie County Department of Mental Health and the Niagara County Department of Mental Health.
