About CED Mental Health Center – Centre
CED Mental Health Center provides psychiatric care and addiction recovery services for youth and adults in Centre, Alabama, including specialized programming for children, adolescents, young adults, pregnant and postpartum women, persons with HIV/AIDS, intravenous drug users, and persons with co-occurring addiction and mental illness. They offer crisis intervention and partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), general outpatient (OP), and aftercare services. Referrals for acute and subacute inpatient treatment are available.
Clients in intensive outpatient (IOP) care receive medical and mental health assessments, personalized care planning, and complete case management. They also engage in robust individual, group, and family counseling and recovery-focused life skills training addressing topics such as coping, relaxation, and relapse prevention. Their IOP program is designed for clients in early recovery, stepping down from inpatient care, or at an elevated risk of relapse.
Their general outpatient programs (OP) enable clients to continue counseling, recovery education, and related therapies, but with less frequency or intensity as they progress in their recovery. Their aftercare services promote a complete continuum of care aligned with clients’ evolving needs and may include housing and employment assistance and referrals for additional services.
CED Mental Health Center may be able to work with major insurers, such as Aetna, Cigna, BlueCross BlueShield, Humana, and others, to offset treatment costs. Contact your provider to verify coverage because out of network benefits can vary. Financial assistance is available.
