About Center for Life Resources – Substance Abuse – Brownwood
Center for Life Resources’s substance abuse program is located in Brownwood, Texas. This is a drug rehab facility that serves veterans, adults, and youth who are experiencing struggles with substance abuse and co-occurring psychiatric disorders. The services here are offered through an outpatient setting.
Care is offered through funding from a human services grant. Because of this, indignant individuals will also be accepted into this program.
The care here is rooted in evidence based practices. You’ll work with a multidisciplinary team including licensed drug and addiction counselors, medical staff, and other support staff. You’ll be supported through cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma informed care. These services will help guide your individual and group counseling sessions.
During these sessions, you’ll learn recovery skills and life skills that will help guide your sobriety. You’ll also work with your care team to create realistic recovery goals. With your recovery team, you’ll develop and work through a plan of action to meet this goal.
Counseling and therapy sessions are tailored to your recovery needs and our age appropriate. There’s case management here as well. Through case management, you’ll get connected to other services that can support your recovery.
They also offer services if you’re navigating the legal system because of a drug related charge. You’ll also have access to social, academic, and employment services so that you can work on a path towards independent and sober living.
