About Center of Hope – Lakewood
Center of Hope is now called Drug Abuse and Addiction. This is an alcohol and drug rehab center for adults, located in Lakewood, Colorado. They offer medication assisted treatment and short term residential care for clients who are struggling with addiction. They work with most commercial insurance plans.
While they’re well known for their detox and residential treatment programs, this center seems to understand that getting to that point isn’t always easy. Sometimes, you know rehab is best for your loved one, but you can’t convince them to take that first step. Here, you can reach out to the Addiction Intervention Team and they’ll walk you through the whole process. They’ll show you how to have productive discussions, plan your approach, and prepare for all possible outcomes.
When they’re ready to enter treatment, clients can enjoy comfortable living spaces that feel like home. They didn’t want the spaces to feel like a cold, clinical setting so they created an environment that could nurture everyone’s mental and physical health. They may participate in one on one or group counseling sessions, recovery focused educational programs, and life skills training to prepare them for independent living.
One former client called their experience here a blessing, noting that it’s the best place to recover in the Midwest. Another client was displeased with the discrepancies between the level of care they were offered on the phone and what they received when they arrived for treatment.
