About Centerstone – Nashville
The Dr. Robert N. Vero Center is part of Centerstone. It’s a CARF accredited and Joint Commission accredited facility located on Ransom Place in Nashville, Tennessee. They offer treatment for adults with substance use disorder and co-occurring disorders such as anxiety, depression and bipolar disorder. They also have behavioral health services for children and the whole family.
The organization is a nonprofit and accepts most insurance plans. They also accept most state and federal plans including Medicaid, Medicare and TRICARE. The staff will help you determine whether you qualify for any special funding or financial assistance programs. They don’t deny services even if you can’t pay.
The Ransom Place facility has outpatient services only. They’re a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC). They have individual, group and family counseling. In group counseling, you’ll be with other people experiencing similar situations to yours. You help each other grow and heal as you all work toward recovery.
Individual counseling is also an option. You’ll work alone with the therapist who can help you work through whatever issues are causing your substance use. You’ll learn coping skills and how to tackle bad habits so you can achieve your goals.
Addiction and substance use are family issues, so they offer family counseling, too. You can meet with your spouse, children and other family members to improve relationships and understand how your substance use affects the family dynamic.
Substance use often goes hand in hand with some common mental health disorders, called dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorders. The center offers psychiatric care so you can have medication management for your mental health concerns if necessary.
