About CentraCare – St Cloud Hospital – St. Cloud
CentraCare – St. Cloud Hospital was originally started by a group called the Sisters of the Order of St. Benedict in 1886. The hospital is at 1406 6th Avenue North in St. Cloud, Minnesota, and continues to operate as a Catholic hospital in partnership with the Bishop and the Diocese of St. Cloud.
The hospital offers an array of outpatient and inpatient services, including cancer, heart, and preventive healthcare. Additionally, they treat substance use and co occurring mental health disorders on an outpatient basis at their facility on 12th Street North, only two miles from the hospital. The addiction treatment program accepts insurance from many carriers, including Medicare.
St. Cloud sits at the Mississippi and Sauk rivers junction in Minnesota. The Mississippi River offers many attractions and activities as it flows through downtown St. Cloud. The addiction treatment center is only four miles from the beautiful Munsinger Gardens which are open to the public year round.
The providers at this facility take their Catholic values seriously by offering compassionate, personalized addiction care. Treatment includes three levels of care, and you’ll be matched with the level that’s best suited to your situation.
The lowest level of care is the outpatient program where you’ll focus on maintaining sobriety. The medium care level is the intensive outpatient program (IOP) where you’ll receive a balanced level of care. The highest level of treatment is the partial hospitalization program (PHP) which offers many hours of daily treatment and support.
The nice thing about the facility’s outpatient programs is the flexibility. They offer day or evening treatment sessions. Most people can attend work or school around the program hours which facilitates your recovery.
The duration of the program varies for everyone, and the team will work with you to develop a treatment plan that ensures you get the care you need for the length of time necessary for recovery. Treatment includes mindfulness practices and various types of therapy. Medication assisted treatment (MAT) is also available.
