Since its inception in 1983, Central Florida Treatment Center has cared for people addicted to heroin, its derivatives and other narcotics. The organization, which is Joint Commission Accredited and Legit Script certified, has eight locations in the sunshine state. Its Fort Pierce, Florida, facility has served the local community since 2006. Here, you can access physician-monitored medication assisted treatment (MAT) and professional counseling for opioid dependency.
Everyone’s timeline is different but most people continue with MAT for at least several months before they can wean off the medication. However, you can start other treatments such as counseling while in an MAT program.
