About Chandler Lodge Foundation – Los Angeles

Chandler Lodge is a non-profit, tax-exempt foundation established in 1960 to help alcohol and drug abusers recover from their addiction. Founded by sober men in the program of Alcoholics Anonymous, they are committed to provide services through the 12 step program that has been successful for many years.

The Foundation has proven to be one of the most effective Sober Living’s available because of the commitment made by clean and sober members, both past and present, and altruistic members of the community, literally thousands have benefited from our in-house and outreach programs.

Chandler Lodge is not a lock down facility; it functions as a recovery program of attraction through the 12 step programs in an alcohol and drug free environment. Chandler Lodge will continue to be of service to the community, helping others to enjoy life without alcohol or drugs and be a productive member of society.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

12-Step

12 step programs such as Alcoholics or Narcotics Anonymous are support group style programs for individuals who are experiencing alcohol or substance use disorder. At Evoke they use a holistic model of addiction care that includes using 12 step programs. These programs are an integral part of most relapse prevention plans and provide continued support and accountability that support sobriety.

Inpatient

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

Young Adult Program

Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.
