Cherokee Nation – Vinita Health Center provides a range of primary and behavioral health care services for kids, teens, and adults in Vinita, Oklahoma. They started in 2001 as a satellite center for the Will Rogers Health Center and expanded in 2012. Now they can offer a wide array of services to help you optimize your mental and physical health, which includes addiction treatment.
Their services are offered on an outpatient basis which means you can attend treatment while still going to work and living at home. They provide individual and group counseling, recovery based education and life skills training to help you overcome your condition and optimize your overall wellness. They also offer psychiatric services and crisis interventions for anyone who needs immediate help.
Something that strikes me about this facility is the proactive approach they take to substance abuse. In addition to treating patients at their outpatient clinic they also go out into the community to do preventative outreach and conduct research studies.
