About Cheyenne VAMC – Loveland CBOC – Loveland
Located in Loveland, Colorado, is the Loveland Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC), which operates under the Cheyenne VA Healthcare network.
This community clinic is a supportive place to turn to if you’re struggling with your mental health and are looking for both clinical and alternative options to address your recovery needs.
They can also support you on your journey to recovery if you’re working through a substance abuse disorder. Pain management, neurology, and chiropractic services are also available here.
They accept VA benefits and most major insurance providers. To help ease your access to care, telehealthcare is available here. There are also lodging options available here for loved ones who are in town because of the care you’re receiving. There’s also transportation and travel reimbursement services as well
The Loveland office offers care known as Whole Health Services. This is an approach to care that uses person focused recovery tactics rather than symptom or illness centered recovery methods.
With Whole Health, you’ll work with providers to determine your recovery goals and what an appropriate recovery plan might look like to help you meet those goals.
As you might expect, there’s a strong focus on person oriented, holistic recovery supports. For example, you may experience acupuncture as a way to manage pain instead of traditional medication management.
You’ll also get to practice mindfulness and meditation and can join yoga, tai chi, and qi gong classes here as well. Massage therapy is also available under their Whole Health services.
This clinic primarily serves as a place where you can receive continuing care after stepping down from a detox or inpatient addiction recovery program.
While they don’t offer dedicated substance abuse treatment services here, you can get referred to other programs within the Cheyenne VA Healthcare network if you need addiction support. Some of these programs include substance abuse counseling, inpatient treatment, and detox support if you’re just beginning your recovery journey.
