The Children’s Home – Community Clinic of Jefferson County in Watertown, New York offers outpatient services for children, youth and adults of all ages. They provide medication management and counselling for children, youth and adults. Their services include crisis management and a child and youth mental health and behavioral crisis respite unit. Addiction and substance abuse treatment is offered through outpatient therapy and individual case management. Medication management and medication assisted treatment (MAT) are available through an on-location pharmacy that specializes in complex mental health pharmacology. They don’t just fill mental health prescriptions, but use their expertise to ensure each client is their healthiest mentally and physically.
Many of the children and youth that use their services have experienced trauma, instability and environments that have led to the current issues being treated. Treatment for behavioral issues, addiction, aggression, depression, trauma, abuse recovery and family healing are all offered in a compassionate and supportive environment for all members of the family.
Child Protective Services cases, court appointed cases, social and human services referrals and community services cases are all accepted here. Self or caretaker referrals can be connected with their services to set up an intake appointment and help individuals and families access the services that are most needed.
Medicaid and Medicare are accepted as are most private health insurance plans. There are self pay and financial assistance programs for those that don’t have Medicaid or insurance to help cover costs of treatment. No one will be turned away due to their financial situation.
