About CHS – Community Human Services – Monterey
CHS Community Human Services provides addiction treatment in Monterey, California to men and women seeking recovery through a continuum of care that spans from residential to outpatient treatment. They also offer youth-based drug education programming.
The residential program is best suited for individuals who need around-the-clock supervision. Treatment begins with an assessment and just followed by case management services, individual therapy, group therapy, relapse prevention programming, 12-step meetings, and coping skill development.
The outpatient program offers drug intervention services, school-based educational programs, and direct services for individuals struggling with addiction. Individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, and referral services are provided. This program is sometimes participated in while individuals reside at a sober living home.
The sober living program provides gender-specific sober living homes that accommodate individuals who are currently undergoing addiction treatment on an outpatient basis.
