About Claudia’s Place – Hazel Crest
Claudia’s Place is a safe haven home located in Hazel Crest, Illinois. Claudia’s Place provides a sober living environment for women who can demonstrate a willingness and commitment to change and invest in themselves.
Claudia’s and Eddie’s Place was the vision of Jocelyn Wells, who began the organization as a way to help women overcome addictions while providing an alternative to their former way of life.
Both of their transitional houses offer a continuum of a structured setting which assists the women in their program to use tools of recovery while focusing on lifestyle changes to create a new and better life beyond their previous hindrances.
They empower women to make healthier choices while living life on life terms, without the use of drugs and alcohol, assisting women to become better mothers, sisters, daughters, wives and employees in today’s society.
They offer the following services: room and board, food, clothing, Direct TV, in-house support groups (like Narcotics Anonymous, After Care groups, Bible Study and Family/Friend group, Alcoholics Anonymous, Grateful Peer Group Meeting, or General House Meetings), transportation, counseling, and post-separation support.
