About Clinch Valley Treatment Center – Cedar Bluff
Clinch Valley Treatment Center is an outpatient opioid use disorder treatment facility for adults that is located in Cedar Bluff, Virginia. This center accepts commercial insurance, Medicaid, Medicare and self pay. This is an outpatient treatment facility, so if you require more intensive treatment you may be referred to another facility.
This center uses evidence-based treatments with medication assisted treatment (MAT) They offer Suboxone, methadone, buprenorphine and Vivitrol. These medications help with the withdrawal symptoms from opiates. They also help with the cravings that you may experience as you enter recovery.
While you are in medication assisted treatment, you’ll also attend counseling. The medication helps you with symptoms and cravings, but you still need to work on lifestyle choices so that you may have a successful long term recovery. During counseling, you will attend both individual and group sessions.
This center wants to help you with the emotional, social and behavioral aspects of your life that have been affected by opiate addiction. They encourage you to get to know others during the group counseling so that you will have someone to talk to that is on a similar journey as you. In individual therapy they also encourage you to open up about concerns or questions you may have, as well as set short and long term goals.
