About Columbus Area Integrated Health Services – Bell Center – Columbus
Columbus Area Integrated Health Services – Bell Center was located in Columbus, Ohio, where they provided a variety of programs including mental health, substance use disorder treatment, prison reentry programs and youth prevention services. Mental health services were offered on an outpatient basis utilizing individual, group and family settings.
They were certified by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services and the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities also known as CARF. Their goal was to help individuals in the central Ohio area establish a sober and crime-free lifestyle, living independently and productively.
The substance use and addictive disorder program provided residential and outpatient services as well as an intensive outpatient program. Your treatment began with an assessment to develop a personalized program that might have included individual and group counseling settings.
Bell Center was the residential program that was available to men 21 years and older with a substance use disorder diagnosis. They also welcomed young men who had a history with the criminal justice system. The residential treatment used culturally sensitive and Afrocentric principles to support your recovery journey.
