About Communicare Tate County Health Department – Senatobia
Communicare – Tate County Office is located in Senatobia, Mississippi. They have drug rehab services for adults, like medication assisted treatment, outpatient programs, and aftercare. They also help kids, teens, and clients who have dual diagnosis needs. Services are available in English and Spanish.
When you start at Communicare, you’ll be eligible for medication assisted treatment, also called MAT. In MAT, licensed clinicians give you Suboxone and naltrexone, which is approved by the FDA to help lower cravings and withdrawal pains. Medication management is available throughout your treatment.
There are two main outpatient programs. The one for those with stronger addictions is intensive outpatient. This requires 10 to 16 hours per week of individual and group counseling. Therapies can include family conferencing, helping your emotions, and developing coping mechanisms. Staff can assess and treat your co-occurring mental and behavioral health disorders.
The general outpatient program is the same, but just not as intense. Traditional treatments can include therapy to develop life skills and healthy daily living habits. Your peers will be with you as you transition into their long-term recovery outside the program.
If you’re not able to be seen in person, there’s Telehealth. In case you need it, a mobile unit is available for crises and relapse.
